Cerita bahwa keperawanan bisa hilang karena jatuh dari sepeda sungguh meresap pada gadis ini, sampai ia ketakutan menjelang hari pernikahannya. Padahal, tidak ada bukti ilmiah bahwa keperawanan hilang akibat jatuh dari sepeda. “Saya seorang gadis berumur 27 tahun, berencana menikah tahun ini. Masalahnya, saya selalu khawatir, bahkan takut dengan keadaan saya. Saya sudah tidak perawan lagi, meskipun hilangnya keperawanan saya bukan karena suka melakukan hubungan seks bebas. Waktu berumur 12 tahun, saya mengalami kecelakaan, jatuh dari sepeda. Sampai saat ini saya masih takut mengatakannya kepada calon suami, takut dia tidak percaya dan menuduh saya yang bukan-bukan.

As you all know, I made a  slight mistake  on the location of the  Twitter  office during my SF visit, which moved to a new location a couple months ago. While I wasn’t able to drop by and snap picture on my own, I was able to acquire a few from the awesome people at Twitter (Thanks  Biz  and  Caroline !). This office space is literally around the corner and down the street from the old office, but really has an entire different feel to it. First off, instead of being long and multi-level, the new space is much more spacious, light, and open, with an amazing view of the city. I think my favorite feature is James the green buck, whose commanding stature and magical smile fill the office with an aura of joy.

In the past, we’ve  posted several times  about Facebook’s office space, but nothing quite like today’s post. Facebook recently moved their offices out of several smaller locations spread throughout Palo Alto, CA and into one central, 150,000-square-foot building that used to house Agilent Technologies. Many of the building’s original features either remain or have been repurposed for Facebook’s use. The space was designed by  studio o+a  who took time to interview employees to see what they wanted and what would make their work experience better and more productive. Employees collaborated with designers throughout the entire process to ensure the best product possible. Because of the differing departmental needs, small neighborhoods within the building were created giving each department its own unique flavor and vibe.

Regardless of whether your teen years are in your rear-view mirror, or you're still in school, suffering from acne breakouts is a major downer. It may not seem fair, but you're certainly not alone. Everyone is clamoring about tablets these days— ourselves included —so it's not too surprising that Google and HTC are set to join the fray. They are reportedly working together on a Chrome OS Google Tablet. Smarthouse, an Australian publication, reports that HTC and Google have been collaborating "for the past 18 months" and have produced "several working models of a touch tablet," including one outfitted with Google's  Chrome OS.  We wrote why a  Google Tablet would be a good idea  last month, and with the Apple Tablet discussion reaching a fever pitch, it's harder and harder to get excited about a  Chrome OS netbook  from Google. Having collaborated on the  Nexus One , a smart phone that  impressed us  with its design as well as its hardware, HTC and Google partnering on a tablet seems like a promising prospect. But will it "compete head on" with Apple's tablet as Smarthouse claims? Probably not.

Gowalla is a location based web app that lets your friends know where you are checking in. It focuses on ranking locations based on how many people check in and check out -- which helps you find a good place to eat, shop or play. Also it mostly requires that you have your iPhone handy so you can check in to get coffee or grab some milk. Have you used Foursquare? Lets pretend Foursquare is Facebook and Gowalla is Twitter. Why did you start using Twitter? Because it is simple, it does one thing very well, maybe better than the competition. Its light and fast. Same with Gowalla, it takes what you use already, simplifies it and then makes it function better, look better, and feel better.  

Google does not just have a new Logo today (Jan 1st 2010), they have  a secret goodie for everyone . They have done this before, but this is by far the most epic one yet!
