"Sebab kita tidak ingin situs yang bermuatan positif cuma di dalamnya terdapat kata -kata yang berkonotasi negatif itu ikut terblokir. Jadi kami coba lakukan pemblokiran secara cerdik," jelas Gatot.

A 16 year old high school student can land up in Laguna Beach jail for a Facebook row with his ex classmates. Michael Jason Wilson stabbed his ex classmate, 17 yr old Julian C at his stomach and hit two of Julian's friend with a knife. Julian C., drove to the house of Wilson with two 16-year-old (Nicholas L. and Sam S.) and a fourth friend. Wilson had previously attended the same high school as the four visitors.While three friends waited in the car, Wilson went to see Julian C. outside the house and a fight broke out, according to the OCDA,(Orange County District Attorney's Office). Wilson pulled out a carving knife with a 12-inch blade and stabbed Julian C. in the stomach.The other two friends went out of the car to help their injured friend and disarm Wilson. An Islamic court in Nigeria has banned the use of Twitter and Facebook websites for conducting debates on the use of amputations as a form of punishment. The court, in the northern city of Kaduna, backed a case brought by a pro-Sharia group arguing that a rights group was hosting debates on social networking sites, which would mock the Sharia system. The Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria has said that it would appeal against the ruling, BBC reports. Sharia judges can order amputations of limbs for petty crimes in some states. The courts mostly deal with domestic issues such as marriage and divorce.

CASES of syphilis have increased four-fold in Britain's Facebook capital as users meet up for unprotected sex, it was revealed yesterday. Figures released last month showed that people in Sunderland, Durham and Teesside were 25 per cent more likely to log on regularly. And an NHS trust chief said Facebook and similar sites were to blame for a shocking rise in cases of potentially-lethal syphilis in the region. Professor Peter Kelly, director of Public Health for NHS Tees, said: "There has been a four-fold increase in the number of syphilis cases detected, with more young women being affected."
