Some people report that they are able to see the public "events" that Facebook users have said they will attend – even if they person is not a "friend" on the social network. The discovery was made by Ka-Ping Yee, a software engineer for the charitable arm of Google, who was trying out the search query system known as the " Graph API " released by Facebook last Friday. In some cases – though not all – it will let you see the public events that people have said they will attend, or have attended.

Tidak bekerjanya aplikasi Facebook di BlackBerry yang dikeluhkan banyak pengguna ternyata tak hanya di Indonesia tapi di seluruh dunia. Facebook mengakui hal tersebut terjadi karena terdapat masalah pada API (application programming interface) yang digunakan pengembang untuk membangun aplikasi. "Kami menghadapi masalah dengan API kami sehingga beberapa pengguna tidak bisa mengakses lewat perangkatnya saat ini. API ini didesain agar para mitra operator bisa menyediakan aplikasi Facebook yang mantap. Kami masih berupaya menyelesaikan masalah tersebut secepatnya," demikian pernyataan Facebook Seiring perubahan tampilan versi webnya, Facebook memang merilis API versi baru melalui blog developernya. GM Direct Sales PT XL Axiata, Handono Warih, yang sebelumnya menangani layanan BlackBerry XL sebelumnya mengatakan perubahan API ini kemungkinan tidak langsung diikuti dengan penyesuaian oleh Research In Motion (RIM) pada layanan BlackBerry-nya.

Selain memprotes Google dengan menyebutnya pembohong, CEO Apple Steve Jobs juga menyebut Adobe sebagai pemalas. Hal tersebut dikatakannya dalam pertemuan dengan para karyawannya di markas Apple di Cupertino, California, AS, sehari setelah meluncurkan iPad. Komentar Jobs terhadap Adobe terkait teknologi Flash yang sering bermasalah di produk-produk Apple. Seperti diketahui, iPad yang baru diluncurkan juga belum bisa menjalankan konten Flash meskipun Adobe langsung mengeluarkan pernyataan akan segera mendukungnya.
