This week,  foursquare  released a new badge for do-it-yourselfers- the Fixer Upper badge. To unlock the new badge, you need to check-in to venues categorized as ‘Hardware.’ It is still unclear as to how many check-ins it takes to unlock the badge, but the general assumption is around three.
