I’ve also been  playing around  with  Google+  (and the neat  mobile Web app ) this morning and so far, I think it has some potential ( not everyone agrees ). But people like me tend to use more than one social networking service, so I was happy to see someone has already built a  Chrome extension  that lets Google+ users push posts to Facebook and Twitter. It’s a little buggy from time to time, but overall, it works as advertised.

Assalamualaikum Pak, Pak, saya ada pertanyaan yg mengganjal nih, Sebenarnya apa hubungan antara agama kristen dg yahudi? krn ada beberapa family maupun teman2 saya yg beragama kristen/katolik, sangat2 membangga2kan yahudi (israel), pdhl setahu saya yang membunuh Tuhan mereka kan kaum Israel (maaf kalo saya salah). Dan mereka sangat mendukung apapun yg dilakukan Yahudi (termasuk menyerang Palestina) malahan dalam doa mereka, selalu memuliakan Yahudi? Saya jadi bingung, sebenarnya agama mereka apa, kristen ato yahudi?. Mohon penjelasan ya Pak, krn saya sering berdebat soal ini dg mereka. Kemudian apakah mengikuti ucapan ulama dengan alasan mereka tidak berbuat salah pada masalah besar termasuk taqlid? atau perkaranya kembali kepada dalil dan hujjah, bukan kepada diri ulama itu sendiri?   Jawaban:   Adapun apakah ulama itu ma'shum (terpelihara dari dosa)? Maka ulama tidaklah ma'shum, demikian juga orang yang bodoh...(hadirin tertawa). Sebab saya khawatir si penanya atau mungkin dia bukan menanya, tetapi kemasukan syubhat dari ahli bid'ah. Tapi saya berbaik sangka bahwa dia mengira bahwa bila ulama saja tidak ma'shum, maka selain mereka yang dia taqlidi adalah ma'shum.

We’ve run into things like this before. Google Chrome had a simlilarly suspicious TOS that was made more reasonable after a similar public outcry . Question is: will Facebook listen? It isn’t the first time they have come under fire.  Beacon and the  new facebook  were both a communication faux pas .  Can you blame Facebook though? They need to make money.  Nobody is twisting your arm to be on Facebook in the first place.   I respect that  CEO Mark Zuckerberg put out  a post  to respond to the situation at hand.  Mind you it would have been nice to see before all the public outcry, though at least they are addressing the ...

Despite high-profile security breaches such as  Jack Straw's Hotmail account being compromised , and cybercriminals gaining access to celebrity Twitter accounts after  cracking an administrator password , a third of computer users are still using the same password for every website they access according to newly revealed stats* from Sophos. Very few computer users seem to have woken up to the risks of using weak passwords and the same ones for every site they visit. With social networking and other internet accounts now even more popular, there's plenty on offer for hackers and by using the same password to access Facebook, Amazon and your online bank account, you're making it much easier for them.

For users who have been awaiting the arrival of a  Facebook  “Dislike” button , don’t believe the wall posts you see claiming to be just that–it’s a scam. This fast spreading scam appears as a Facebook status update in your News Feed that says “Facebook now has a dislike button! Click ‘Enable Dislike Button’ to turn on the new feature!” Next to the Like and Comment links at the bottom of the post it also says “Enable Dislike Button,” but please don’t click on it! Once you click the link, the message will be posted as your status (exposing all of your friends to the scam) and a JavaScript code will run on your computer. These kinds of codes are very dangerous because they bypass security settings on your computer’s browser and leave your computer exposed to malware.
