Yah memang sebenarnya Facebook saat ini lebih popular daripada Twitter, jumlah user Facebook lebih banyak daripada user Twitter, dan saat postingan ini ditulis, dari 100 urutan web terbanyak diakses di Indonesia, Facebook menempati nomor 1 sedangkan Twitter menempati urutan 17. Namun jika kita lihat dari sisi lain “Twitter ternyata lebih menarik daripada Facebook”. Saya yakin suatu saat semua orang bosan dengan facebook, dan itu mulai terlihat sekarang, banyak teman tidak aktif lagi bermain facebook, tidak seperti masa awal booming. She also added that Apps must comply with all local laws and may not put an individual or group in harm’s way.

The new easy TripAdvisor’s interface will allow you to select any location from the map and the read the user experience of your friends who have been using the “Where Have You Been?” FaceBook app. The news is not really surprising as TripAdvisor had bought the app way back in 2007 for $3 million. Reports indicate that Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is expected to unveil some new slates from Samsung and Dell at CES next month that are designed to compete with Apple's incredibly popular iPad.  The company has not confirmed, and the sources of the info are unnamed, but evidently trusted by the New York Times , which reports :  The Samsung device is described as "similar in size and shape to the Apple iPad, although it is not as thin. It also includes a unique and slick keyboard that slides out from below for easy typing." The people familiar with this device said it would run the Windows 7 operating system when in landscape mode, but will also have a layered interface that will appear when the keyboard is hidden and the device is held in a portrait mode.

Theoretically, the more a user adds info about the kinds of things they like, the better idea Facebook has about what they are actually interested in, and can serve ads accordingly.  Does Facebook serve you ads that you find relevant? I see a lot of ads for things that I actually do like, which is more than I can say for ads in other channels, but I see a lot of ads that make me wonder why I was possibly targeted for them as well. Coba tilik pencarian di Google. Daftar ketiga paling atas biasanya dihuni oleh hasil dari Twitter. Terutama untuk pencarian yang memang sedang ramai dibicarakan. Atau juga tilik Bing. Mesin pencari asal Microsoft ini juga kadang (kalau tidak dibilang sering) memunculkan hasil dari Facebook dalam hasil pencariannya. Terlepas dari kedua mesin ini sudah menggandeng kerjasama dengan masing-masing media sosial yang sedang mewabah ini, urusan pencarian memang sedang diburu oleh keduanya. Payback used Twitter and Facebook to claim responsibility for the shut down. The group said on both Facebook and Twitter that it was using a distributed denial of service attack, also known as a DDOS attack, to bring down Mastercard’s website. DDOS attacks overload a website’s servers by sending an inordinate amount of requests for information that results in a site being unable to operate. Twitter officials could not be reached for comment, but Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes e-mailed this statement: “We take our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities seriously and react quickly to reports of inappropriate or illegal content and behavior. In this case, we removed a page because it was promoting a DDOS attack.
